The difference comes down to how much perfume oil is in the bottle.
- Eau de Parfum (EDP) – around 15–20% oil. Richer, usually lasts 6–8 hours.
- Eau de Toilette (EDT) – around 5–15% oil. Lighter and fresher, usually 3–5 hours.
Which should you pick?
Choose an EDP for evenings, colder months and when you want your scent to last all day. Choose an EDT for daytime, warm weather and a lighter feel.
